True story

For two years prior to the 1969 launch of Apollo 11, Neil Armstrong had nightmares about being stranded on the moon. In these dreams he and his crew successfully land on the moon but are unable to get back home.

After actually landing on the moon, they discovered that the switch to ignite the engines for the return trip was broken.
