What happened to skittles.com? Is this the future of the publicly facing corporate web site?

Headaches are correlated with weather changes.  Who knew!  Besides me, I mean.

Meanwhile, America is becoming less Christian.  What does it mean?

Finally Joe Conason nails the current health care debate:

Why do we spend so much more on healthcare, per capita, than other developed countries? Why do we achieve worse outcomes on several important measures than countries that spend far less? Why do we spend up to twice as much per person as countries that provide universal coverage while leaving as many as 50 million Americans without insurance?

  1. Interesting, the America is becoming less Christian was part of the Joy Cardin show this morning on WPR this morning. Technically the segment was about a survey showing that there is an explosion of people in the U.S. identifying themselvess as Non-denomincational, but they did show a 250% growth in Atheism (I do forget the number of years for that growth).

  2. Andrew Sullivan is often very good on the ebbs and flows of Christianity. He draws a distinction between Christianity and what he calls “Christianism,” or the domination of right-wing ideology in much of the evangelical movement.

He doesn’t seem to do tags on similar subjects, so it’s hard to single out a particular subject, and he posts a zillion times every day, but for a conservative, he’s reality-based and informative.
